100 Days of Joy

Day 6-Today I found joy in today.
I can't really think of one specific thing but it was just a good day :) Praise the Lord!

The "Kids"

I must have some maternal instincts somewhere because I seem to find myself "kids" even if they aren't of the real variety. :) When we first got married we had fish...one of them, our beloved Baby Girl lived an unheard of FIVE years...tetra fish are not supposed to live more than a few months generally. I became so attached to her! She had her very own personality and when she passed away I cried and cried! But I had to move on and for Christmas the next year my Mom gave me (as a joke) one of those Webkinz stuffed animals...naturally I became attached again...she is just too cute! Hubby thinks I'm quite silly (although I did come home one night and find that he had given her a bath and combed her hair because he thought she was getting to ratty looking!).

Update: Two more pups joined us this Christmas! Turbo and JoJo. (thanks to my brother and sister-in-law)
